Here's a step-by-step list of how to take these ingredients and turn them into your own sushi!
Sushi Rice
- Put a cup and a half of sushi rice and two cups of water into the rice cooker.
- Cook the rice according to the "white rice" setting.
- When the rice is finished cooking, pour a fourth of a cup of rice vinegar over it and toss. Try not to mash the rice!
Rolls
- Slice your fillings into quarter inch pieces, about half the length of the seaweed.
- Place a piece of seaweed straight on the bamboo mat.
- Place your fillings on the seaweed.
- Roll! This can be a bit tricky, but try to roll it pretty tight!
- Slice and enjoy with sauces!
